About Us

THE MISSION of the Graduate Student Organization is to provide for current and future graduate students access to resources, volunteer service and social networking opportunities. The goal of this mission is to enhance the graduate school experience for students at all levels of the program!

We hope to fulfill this mission through three objectives:

Assist with graduate student recruitment by providing insight into the graduate student experience at Visit Maryland Day and via Facebook and this website.
Enhance the graduate school experience for students at all levels by participation in mentorship and provision of opportunities for networking such as bi-yearly socials and gaining feedback through surveys and meetings.
Establish a connection to alumni to improve placement of near-term graduates and gain feedback on job skills that are important beyond graduate school.
