Welcome to the Wang Research Group at the University of Maryland! We are a group of hard-working and creative researchers having fun at addressing some of the fundamental challenges in Energy, biomedical, and quantum technologies through Materials Chemistry of Carbon and beyond (E=MC^2 & beyond).
Welcome to The Nano Times!
- Allen Ng wins the Ann G. Wylie Dissertation Fellowship from the Graduate School, and Lyndsey Powell is awarded the Millard & Lee Alexander Fellowship in Chemistry! Congratulations, Lyndsey and Allen!
- The Wang group is awarded an R01 grant from NIH/NIGMS to investigate chemical gating effects on a tube-in-a-tube semiconductor that is synthetically created in their group!
- Watch graduate student Alex Brozena explaining some of our group’s research.
- July 8-12, 2013. The 1st Telluride Workshop on the Chemistry and Physics of Defects in Carbon Nanotubes.
- June 17, 2013. Yanmei, Brendan, Lyndsey, and Hyejin’s paper is accepted by Nature Chemistry. Cheers!
