NOBCChE is Endowed by Dr. Gandy of Atlanta, GA
On October 24, 2008 Dr. Gandy of Atlanta, Georgia, donated a permanent endowment to our NOBCChE chapter, totaling to $25,000. NOBCChE will use the money to help our organization work more effectively in carrying out our mission including UMD outreach, K-12 outreach, as well as our tutoring program. Dr. Gandy is an alumnus of Maryland, graduating with a degree in chemistry. He is now a successful cardiologist in the Atlanta metropolitan area, receiving his medical degree from Howard University. Please help us in thanking Dr. Gandy for his generous contribution, making us the first NOBCChE chapter ever to be endowed.
