The 38th Annual National Conference was held April 19-22, 2010 in Houston, Texas.

The theme for the meeting was: “Solutions for Global Challenges.”

The University of Maryland NOBCChE chapter was in attendence in Houston with students and professors giving posters and presentations in technical sessions, including award symposia.  See pictures for this event on Flickr.

NOBCChE 201037th Annual National Conference in Atlanta

The 37th Annual National Conference was held March 29-April 2, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

The theme was: “Sustainability in Science, Engineering and Policy and Next Generation Technologies in Science and Engineering.”

2009 Southeast Regional Conference Hosted in College Park/Hyattsville

The NOBCChE Regional meeting was a huge success!  The student chapter of NOBCChE would like to thank the people in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and those from various parts of the southeast region for their involvement in making the NOBCChE Southeast Regional Conference such a success.  It is due to the aid of the department that the conference was bigger than the previous conferences recently held.  We appreciate the faculty and students that stepped up to plan, volunteer, present, judge posters and oral presentations, attend the conference, and help in any possible way.

36th Annual National Conference in St. Louis

The 36th Annual National Conference was held April 13-18 in St. Louis Renaissance Grand Hotel, April 13-17, 2009. The theme was: “NOBCChE 09~The Perfect Gateway to STEM.”

This year the University of Maryland was represented by students and staff participating in poster sessions, oral presentations, and information booths supporting UMD.
