Research in the Sintim laboratory takes a multi-disciplinary approach to several biological problems.  We use the tools of organic chemistry to develop chemical probes to study biology.  Projects in our group range from total synthesis of complex biologically active molecules to elucidation of bacterial signaling processes. The group is also interested in developing new enabling technologies to detect disease biomarkers.
