Chemistry 272 pre-lab podcasts are found only on iTunes or the RSS Feed.

Please note, pre-labs are not availble for all the labs, but the ph Meter tutorial and the micropipette tutorial teach you the basics (if you don't already know how) to use the tools in the labs that do not have specific podcasts.

Welcome to the new Chemistry 272 Podcast download website.  From this site you should be able to download any of the podcasts you need.
UPDATE 06/07/2007
New versions of the first three postlabs are up.  These should have better sound quality.  Don't forget to read the link at the bottom and take the survey when you get a chance.  Perhaps after 3 or 4 podcasts.  Thanks
Pedro

SUMMER 2007 Chemistry 272
Pre-lab and post-lab video podcasts are available for most of the experiments you will be performing this summer.  If you have used iTunes in the past, this should be easy.  For those of you who have not used iTunes or an iPod, no worries, it is easy.  In fact, it is so easy you don't even need iTunes or an iPod to watch the videos.  Pre-lab podcasts will always be on iTunes or through the RSS feed which is a website where the videos are fed to iTunes but you can click on them there and watch them without going through iTunes.  If you have a video iPod then I say go for the full podcasting experience and download them straight to your iPod.  You can take it to class with you and watch it there when you get stuck and so forth.  If you are averse to iTunes or iPods, you can still watch the videos.  The computers on the third floor of Chemistry (the WAM lab) all have the ability to watch the video.  Actually, just about any modern computer (say no more than 4 years old or so) has the ability to watch the videos, you just need to download Quicktime video player, which is free.  You download them through the RSS feed and watch them in Quicktime.  I am sure there will be some technical issues and if there are, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.  I have supplied some links on this page to help you with the process.  Enjoy!

P.S
.  Please be aware that these videos were made for the Spring semester.  Some of the issues we had in the beginning were cleared up by the end but you will probably still have those "technical" issues like low quality sound in some of the videos.  I apologize in advance for that, but save for making new videos, which is impossible right now, there is not much we can do.  So please be aware of this and I will post regular updates on this site telling you when and what to expect as the summer progresses.

PLEASE TAKE THIS SURVEY!
It's only 4 questions long and I will read every entry and take your opinions seriously.
Your opinions will help improve the podcasts and that benefits you!
Thanks, Pedro
